How can I get my children to sleep in the same room with success?
We have moved to a smaller house, and our two children aged three years and now we have to share a room. Firstly, we can not even to stay in the room. Secondly, we can not get to go to sleep. They play and play with them for hours. They've been waking up with dark circles under his eyes, and who do not sleep in the morning, later, the next would think it might. I do not know what else to do. We have baby gates to prevent it in, but still out. Our two year old has been temporarily sleeping in the closet (door open) in our bedroom with us, but clearly this is not a permanent solution. Advice is much appreciated : 0)
I had similar situation ... What I did was put a temporary screen, so they could not see each other. Then I was down so I could them both. The first few times out of bed, I reminded them it was bedtime and they need to set up and go to sleep. After about 5 times, I did not say nothing ... I just want to keep putting them back in there beds. This continued for 90 minutes the first night! I stayed with her and the 2nd night was 60 minutes, 3 at night, was down to 20 minutes. That lasted a few days, but in the second week I had to sit on the floor more. I got the screen time, because it seems like having space "in" at night. Good luck.
